Nacho casserole

Nacho casserole

1 pound ground beef
1 jar (12 oz.) chunky salsa
1 C corn
3/4 C Miracle whip
1 T chili powder
2 C crushed tortilla chips, divided
2 C (8 oz) shredded Colby or monterey jack cheese, divided

Heat oven to 350 deg.  Brown meat, drain.  Stir in salsa, corn, dressing and chili powder.  Layer 1/2 each of the meat mixture, chips and cheese in 2 quart casserole. Repeat layers.  Bake 20 min. or until thoroughly heated.  Top with shredded lettuce and chopped tomato if desired.

I use mayonnaise sometimes and add more corn sometimes.  The recipe is very forgiving.  Can probably add olives too if you like that or maybe black beans.
