Broccoli Salad (from Dana Kobashigawa)



Broccoli Salad (from Dana Kobashigawa)

 Chopped broccoli (about 6 cups)
1 cup of golden raisins (regular raisins are okay)
1 cup of spanish peanuts
1/2 red onion, chopped
10 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled (if you are pressed for time use the ready made real bacon bits)
1 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

Mix dressing: mayonnaise, sugar and wine vinegar well and refrigerate.  Put salad together just before ready to eat and pour on dressing and toss.
